Our Story

BharatFi began with one simple truth:

Most MSMEs don’t fail to raise capital because they are not eligible. They fail because they are misadvised — or not advised at all.

Back in 2015, Namrata began helping small businesses raise debt through hands-on advisory and syndication. She saw a painful pattern: over 70% of loan applications were rejected.

Books were misaligned, ratios poorly presented, credit histories ignored. She made it her mission to change that — one client at a time.

And it worked. Many of those businesses went on to grow 10X and beyond — we’ve been fortunate to stay part of their journey.

Yuvraj, once a founder himself, knew how a lack of financial clarity can derail even the best ideas. After leading fintech at EY and working with Citibank NA and PwC, he returned to build BharatFi’s strategy and systems — blending execution with empathy.

Sritika, raised in a business family and shaped by roles at Google, Freshworks, and HDFC, leads our outreach and partnerships — making sure BharatFi always speaks the language founders understand.

Together, we built BharatFi to take what Namrata started to founders across the country — making smarter credit access available to every deserving business.
